JOB TITLE: SENIOR BRAND МANAGER, Russia
DEPARTMENT:MARKETING
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure proper development of brand equities and profitability maximization
of several international brands in Russia through:
- Development of effective brand strategy in Russia
- Product packaging adaptation
- Advertising & media placement
- BTL promotions on and off trade
- PR activities
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Marketing Director
Responsible for: 1-3 Brand Managers
MAIN MISSIONS & RESPONSIBILIES:
1. Local brand strategy development
Adapt global brand strategy to the Russian Market
Elaborate & adjust brand essence, developed by brand owner
Prepare quarterly LE (Last Estimates)
Work out 3 year plans & annual budgets
2. Marketing mix implementation
Develop adaptation of labels together with brand owner& the agency
Conduct consumer tests of new packaging / label adaptations
Conduct comparative product taste tests (both blind & open)
- Advertising adaptation & media placement
Adapt advertising campaigns in cooperation with ATL agency & brand owner
Conduct consumer tests of new creative campaigns
Ensure smooth working relations with ATL agency
Provide ideas for creative / indirect advertising
- BTL promotions on & off trade
Implement promotions in off-trade accounts (supermarkets) and on-trade
accounts (restaurants, clubs & bars)
Ensure maximum quality of the promotion campaigns arranged
Constantly provide new promotion ideas that comply with the strategy and help
the brands to stand out in competition together with trade marketing
Develop POS materials in collaboration with trade marketing to gain maximum effectiveness at optimum cost.
Constantly assess the effectiveness of promotions and propose ways of increasing it.
Trace competitive pricing on a regular basis
Provide pricing recommendations to top management
Develop PR strategy as a part of marketing plan in cooperation with PR manager of the company & PR agencies involved.
Develop & implement PR events in cooperation with PR Manager & PR agency.
Ensure maximum quality of these events (e.g. maximum brand visibility, product availability, product knowledge by promo personnel & bartenders, etc.).
3. Brand performance analysis
Conduct regular analysis of the results of retail audit
Conduct regular monitoring of brand equity
Develop other ad-hoc consumer studies
On a regular basis present the results of analysis & propose solutions to top management.
4. Financial control
Control marketing budget for the brands
Ensure proper management reporting
Follow financial discipline of the company
5. Management
Manage other activities of the team on day-to-day basis
Provide constructive feedback on regular basis
Ensure development program for subordinates

REQUIRED PROFILE
Minimum 5 years experience, preferably, in marketing
Degree in business studies with focus on marketing
European mobility
