The purpose of the programs "Commerce" and "Logistics in the trading activity":

The purpose of the programs – skill formation of professionals, who are able to solve problems organization, management and design processes in the field of commerce, marketing, logistics, material support and in companies of different sectors of the economy, various sizes and forms of ownership for the Russian labor market. We are trying to train managers who use new style of thinking and leadership, possess advanced knowledge and practical skills. Our program features a practical focus.

Our programs allow you to

• obtain the latest knowledge and acquire professional skills in their professional field, in full compliance with the requirements of the State Federal Education Standard of 3rd generation and the principles of the Bologna Declaration, which provides flexibility and mobility of education Europe-wide; 
  to specialize knowledge and practical skills to work successfully in different areas of business and commerce:
  • commercial structures of enterprises in different industries and service sector,
  • logistics departments of companies and logistics centers,
  • international trade.
• study of two foreign languages (English and the second – at the choice of student); 
• undertake internships in the leading business schools in Russia and abroad (Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland);
• gain practical work experience during interning in Russian organizations;
• additional education – second degree of the European Bachelor Degree (France, Switzerland, etc.).

Program Structure

Bachelor of Commerce curriculum, its structure, the subjects included are aimed at combining the depth of modern theoretical knowledge, which student gets, with practical orientation of training, focusing on new approaches and methods of business organization in enterprises in every field in a dynamically developing economy. 

The Bachelor educational program includes training cycles and sections. Each cycle has a base part (the same for all sections of this direction) and an elective (specialized) part, which is being developed by each university independently, given the characteristics of the profile (the program) of training. 
The profile provides extension and deepening of knowledge and skills and thus allows students to prepare for their future careers. The curriculum provides students an opportunity to study optional subjects, which form the specific skills that interest students.
The total workload of the program - 240 credits, and that meet world standards for bachelor programs.
Humanitarian, social and economic cycles (HSE). 
The appointment of disciplines included in this cycle is to form students' culture of thinking, the ability to generalize, the ability to build their business oral and written language logically true, reasoned and clear, to create texts and papers for professional use, etc. For this purpose the following disciplines are included in basic training HSE-cycle plan:

1. Russian language

3. Philosophy
4. Economic theory
5. Foreign language

Within the elective component of this cycle the following subjects are included:

1. Sociology
2. Politilogy
3. Science of law
4. Business negotiations and business correspondence in foreign language
5. Psychology of business

Disciplines by choice within HSE:

1. Business negotiations or Business ethics and etiquette
2. Culturology or  Business Rhetoric
3. World economy and international policy or Religion History

Mathematical and natural sciences component is represented by the disciplines.

1. Mathematics (the basics of analytical geometry, mathematical analysis, mathematical statistics and probability theory are studied)

In the elective part the following subjects are studied:

2. Information technologies of management
3. Methods of optimization (specialization «Commerce»)
4. Mathematical methods and modeling in logistics (specialization «Logistics»)

6. Insurance in the logistics or the Delegation of authorities and responsibilities

Curriculum also provides:

1. Internships
2. writing at least two term papers
3. studying of a second foreign language chosen by the student as an optional subject.

The training on the program will be completed by the final state certification, which provides for writing and defense of thesis.
